AP - Digital video recording company TiVo Inc. said Monday it is teaming up with Domino's Pizza Inc. to allow subscribers to order pizza for delivery or pick-up from their TV sets.
Investor's Business Daily - High-definition TV owners prefer to watch shows using Blu-ray discs rathern than downloading or streaming movies from the Internet because they like having physical copies of movies, a survey by researcher SmithGeiger found. While 96% of Blu-ray disc users were familiar with downloading a streaming service, two-thirds favored watching a movie on Blu-ray. 90% of Blu-ray users would recommend it to others. A format war between Blu-ray and HD DVD ended last Feb. when Toshiba dropped its longtime support for HD DVD.
